Ikhtiar Menjemput Jodoh

Sudah menjadi Sunatullah bahwa Allah menetapkan semua makhluk berpasang-pasangan & setiap orang sudah dijamin jodohnya namun upaya dan ikhtiar tetap dibutuhkan untuk menjemput jodohnya. Ikhtiar yang kita bisa lakukan di dalam menjemput jodoh adalah luruskan niat. Percayalah luruskan niat, sucikan hati bahwa anda menikah karena ingin mengikuti Sunah Rasul & mengharap Ridha Allah.

Selanjutnya untuk menentukan pilihan yang terbaik serahkan pada Allah dengan melalui sholat istikharah & musyarawah dengan keluarga khususnya ayah dan ibunda tercinta. Allah memberikan petunjuk di dalam al-Quran, "Dan janganlah kamu menikahkan orang-orang musyrik, sesungguhnya budak yang mukmin lebih baik dari orang musyrik walaupun dia menarik hatimu, mereka mengajak ke neraka , sedang Allah mengajak ke surga & ampunan dengan izinNya & menerangkan ayat-ayatNya kepada manusia supaya mereka mengambil pelajaran" (QS. al-baqarah : 221).

Dari mana lambang bulan sabit dan bintang?

"Tidak ada bukti barang ataupun atsar yang menjelaskan bahwa Rasulullah pernah memerintahkan umat Islam untuk menggunakan lambang bulan sabit dan bintang ataupun memberi contoh penggunaannya. Satu-satunya ‘bulan sabit’ yang penting bagi umat Islam adalah hilal, ‘bulan sabit’ tipis sekejap, tanda awal bulan baru (tanggal 1). Namun, hilal memang bukan bulan sabit (tanggal 4-5). Tanpa adanya contoh dari Rasulullah dan sahabat-sahabatnya, tidak layak bagi umat Islam mencanangkan lambang bulan sabit dan bintang sebagai lambang Islam.

Lambang bulan dan bintang telah digunakan secara meluas oleh badan freemason (Yahudi).

Sebenarnya simbol ini telah diperkenalkan oleh Sultan Muhammad II ke dalam bendera kerajaan Uthmaniyyah setelah penaklukan Kota Istanbul (Constantinople) pada 1453 Masihi. Lambang Bulan dan Bintang itu adalah lambang bagi Kota Constantinople (Istanbul) yang sebelum itu berada di bawah kekuasaan Empayar Rom sejak sekian lama.

Sebelum dikenali dengan nama Constantinople, kota tersebut terlebih dahulu dikenali sebagai Byzantium. Byzantium diambil disaat nama Raja Byzas (663 SM) dan dijadikan ibu negara untuk Kerajaan Byzantine sebelum kerajaan tersebut dihancurkan oleh kerajaan Uthmaniyyah pada 1453 Masehi. Bulan sabit telah dijadikan simbol kota tersebut untuk didedikasikan kepada Dewi Artemis (Hunt God).

Lambang bintang pula ditambah sebagai simbol kota setelah kematian Maharaja Constantine pada 337 Masehi dan nama Byzantium ditukar menjadi Constantinople sebagai peringatan terhadap maharaja Constantine. Lambang itu merupakan simbol Dewi Ishtar (Star yaitu bintang dalam bahasa Inggris diambil dari perkataan Ishtar ini). Dewi Ishtar ialah tuhan kesuburan, kasih sayang, peperangan dan seks bagi kaum Babylon purba. Ada juga pendapat yang mengatakan lambang bintang ini diambil dari Star Of Virgin Mary karena agama Kristen telah menjadi agama rasmi kerajaan Rom dengan Persidangan Nicea pertama pada 335 Masihi dan Persidangan Constantinople pada 381 Masehi. Dan sejak itu Bulan Sabit dan Bintang telah menjadi lambang rasmi untuk kota tersebut.

Jika orang Kristean telah ditipu dengan lambang salib yang mereka sendiri pun tak tahu siapa yang memulainya, umat Islam pun tertipu dengan lambang bulan dan bintang sehingga begitu mengagung-agungkan lambang tersebut. Lihatlah di masjid-masjid diseluruh dunia, lambang bulan dan bintang ini begitu diagung-agungkan, sehingga diletakkan di tempat yang paling tinggi sekali di menara masjid.

Mungkin sebagian besar dari kita bertanya-tanya tentang lambang bulan dan bintang yang ada di hampir setiap menara atau kubah masjid, dan bulan bintang seperti lambang resmi umat muslim sedunia. Pada setiap organisasi islam tidak afdhol jika tidak ada bulan dan bintang. kenapa lambang ini menjadi identik dengan islam??

Beberapa versi pengamat sejarah mengatakan bahwa sebenarnya asal lambang bulan bintang berasal dari lambang khilafah Islamiyah terakhir yang dimiliki umat Islam, yaitu Khilafah Turki Utsmani.

Khilafah ini adalah warisan terakhir kejayaan umat Islam. Memiliki luas wilayah yang membentang dari ujung barat sampai ujung timur dunia. Wilayahnya mencakup tiga benua besar dunia, Afrika-Eropa dan Asia. Ibukotanya adalah kota yang sejak 1400 tahun yang lalu telah dijanjikan oleh Rasulullah SAW sebagai kota yang akan jatuh ke tangan umat Islam.

Rasulullah bersabda, “Konstantinopel akan kalian bebaskan. Pasukan yang mampu membebaskannya adalah pasukan yang sangat kuat. Dan panglima yang membebaskannya adalah panglima yang sangat kuat..”

Berabad-abad lamanya umat Islam memimpikan realisasi kabar gembira Rasulullah itu. Namun sejak zaman Khilafah Rasyidah, Khilafah Bani Umayah hingga Khilafah Bani Abbasiyah, kabar gembira itu tidak pernah juga terealisasi. Memang sebagian Eropa sudah jatuh ke tangan Islam, yaitu wilayah Spanyol dengan kota-kotanya antara lain: Cordova, Seville, Granda dan seterusnya. Namun jantung Eropa belum pernah jatuh secara serius ke tangan Islam.

Barulah ketika Sultan Muhammad II yang lebih dikenal dengan Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih menjadi panglima, jatuhlah kota yang pernah menjadi ibu kota Eropa itu. Lewat pertempuran yang sangat dahsyat dengan menggunakan senjata paling modern di kala itu, yaitu CANON atau meriam yang sangat besar dan suaranya memekakkan telinga, Muhammad Al-Fatih berhasil menjatuhkan kota konstantininopel itu dan menjadikannya sebagai ibu kota Khilafah Turki Utsmani. Serta menjadikannya pusat peradaban Islam.

Wilayahnya adalah tiga benua dengan semua peradaban yang ada di dalamnya. Saat itu bulan sabit digunakan untuk melambangkan posisi tiga benua itu. Ujung yang satu menunjukkan benua Asia yang ada di Timur, ujung lainnya mewakili Afrika yang ada di bagian lain dan di tengahnya adalah Benua Eropa. Sedangkan lambang bintang menunjukkan posisi ibu kota yang kemudian diberi nama Istambul yang bermakna: Kota Islam.

Bendera bulan sabit ini adalah bendera resmi umat Islam saat itu, karena seluruh wilayah dunia Islam berada di bahwa satu naungan khilafah Islamiyah. Tidak seperti sekarang ini yang terpecah-pecah menjadi sekian ratus negara yang berdiri sendiri hasil dari jajahan barat.

Wajar kalau lambang itu begitu melekat di hati umat dari ujung barat Maroko sampai ujung Timur Marauke. Inilah lambang yang pernah dimiliki oleh umat Islam secara bersama, bulan dan bintang. Dan lambang ini kemudian seolah menjadi lambang resmi umat Islam dan selalu muncul di kubah-kubah masjid. Dan kalau kita perhatikan, nyaris hampir semua kubah masjid di berbagai belahan dunia punya lambang ini.

Dan banyak institusi umat Islam yang juga memakai lambang ini, misalnya Masyumi di masa lalu. Bahkan di zaman reformasi, di Indonesia muncul Partai Bulan Bintang yang lambangnya bulan bintang.

SEPULUH TIPS MENJADI SUAMI YANG SUKSES

1. Tampil rapi, bersih dan wangilah untuk istri anda. Kapan terakhir kali kita para suami pergi berbelanja baju yang bagus? Seperti halnya para suami yang ingin istrinya tampil cantik untuknya maka para istri pun sama yaitu ingin suaminya tampil tampan untuk mereka. Ingatlah bahwa Nabi Muhammad SAW selalu menggunakan siwak jika pulang ke rumah dan beliau menyukai wangi-wangian.

2. Gunakan nama panggilan kesayangan khusus untuk istri anda. Nabi Muhammad SAW memberi nama kesayangan untuk istri-istrinya. Gunakan panggilan kesayangan untuk istri anda yang ia sukai dan jangan menggunakan nama panggilan yang bisa melukai perasaannya.

3. Jangan perlakukan dia seperti halnya nyamuk. Kita tidak pernah memikirkan nyamuk sampai nyamuk tersebut menggigit kita. Dan jangan sampai para suami cuek, membiarkan istrinya seharian penuh dan hanya memberi perhatian ketika istrinya menggigit atau minta diperhatikan. Jangan perlakukan para istri seperti halnya nyamuk; perlakukan mereka dengan baik dan berikan perhatian kepada mereka tanpa harus menunggu digigit .

4. Jika para suami melihat ada yang salah dengan istri mereka, cobalah untuk diam dan tidak mengeluarkan komentar. Seperti itulah yang dilakukan oleh Nabi Muhammad SAW ketika beliau melihat sesuatu yang tidak cocok pada istri-istrinya. Inilah cara yang hanya dikuasai oleh sedikit laki-laki Muslim.

5. Tersenyumlah ketika anda para suami melihat istri anda dan peluklah mereka dengan rutin. Senyum adalah sedekah bagi tiap Muslim yang melakukannya begitu pun dengan tersenyum kepada istri anda. Bayangkan hidup anda dengan dia yang selalu melihat anda tersenyum. Dan juga ingatlah sebuah hadits ketika Nabi Muhammad SAW mencium istrinya sebelum melaksanakan shalat meski saat itu beliau sedang berpuasa.

6. Berterima kasihlah kepada dia atas semua yang dilakukannya untuk anda. Lalu ucapkan terima kasih lagi. Contohnya ketika makan malam. Istri anda sudah memasak, membersihkan rumah dan banyak lagi pekerjaan yang harus ia lakukan. Dan kadang setelah selesai makan malam ucapan yang ia dapatkan adalah bahwa kurangnya garam dalam sop yang dimasak oleh istri anda. Jangan bersikap seperti itu; berterima kasihlah.

7. Minta kepada istri anda untuk menuliskan 10 hal terakhir yang anda lakukan untuknya yang bisa menyenangkan dia. Lalu lakukan dan kemudian minta lagi. Mungkin akan sulit jika anda menebak sendiri apa yang bisa menyenangkan istri anda. Anda tidak perlu menebak-nebak, tanyakan kepadanya, lalu lakukan dan ulangi terus sepanjang hidup anda.

8. Jangan anggap tidak penting permintaan istri anda. Buat istri anda nyaman. Terkadang para suami mungkin terlihat tidak bersemangat ketika istri mereka meminta sesuatu. Nabi Muhammad SAW mencontohkan kepada kita dalam suatu ketika kejadian Safiyyah RA menangis karena beliau menempatkan dia di onta yang lambat jalannya. Lalu beliau sapu air matanya, menghibur dia dan membawakan onta untuknya.

9. Bercanda dan bermainlah dengan istri anda. Lihat bagaimana Nabi Muhammad SAW sering balap lari dengan istrinya Siti Aisyah RA di gurun. Kapan terakhir kali kita bercanda dan bermain dengan istri kita seperti halnya yang pernah Nabi Muhammad SAW lakukan?

10. Selalu ingat sabda Nabi Muhammad SAW: Sebaik-baik di antara kamu adalah yang paling baik pada keluarganya dan aku adalah yang paling baik terhadap keluargaku. Cobalah untuk menjadi yang terbaik.

Jangan lupa untuk berdoa kepada Allah SWT agar rumah tangga anda menjadi rumah tangga yang sakinah, mawaddah wa rahmah. Sesungguhnya Allah SWT Maha Tahu apa yang terbaik untuk kita semua.

Wudhu, Tayamum dan Listrik Statis

Assalaamu'alaikum, wr, wb.

Teman saya bertanya kepada saya, "Kamu sering kesetrum listrik statis waktu memegang handle pintu kantor kita?"
Saya jawab, "Iya, betul sekali. Tetapi hanya waktu winter saja."
Setiap musim winter tiba, saya memang sering merasa kesetrum ketika memegang handle pintu yang terbuat dari bahan logam seperti almunium.

Ia bertanya, "Tahukah kamu mengapa hal ini tidak terjadi di musim yang lain?"
Saya jawab, "Tidak tahu."
Kata teman saya, "Karena udara sangat kering di musim winter."
Saya tanya, "Kok bisa begitu?"

Jawab dia, "Karena molekul air yang mengembun di tubuh kita akan menetralkan listrik statis yang terakumulasi di tubuh kita. Di musim winter, udara sangat kering, sehingga tidak ada molekul air di permukaan kulit kita. Elektron yang terkumpul di tubuh kita, yang kebanyakan berasal dari gesekan jaket yang kita kenakan, akan terus terakumulasi. Dan begitu tangan kita menyentuh logam yang merupakan konduktor yang baik, elektron yang terakumulasi tadi langsung "meloncat" dari tubuh kita ke logam tsb. Itu adalah fenomena "petir mini", dan ujung jarimu yang merasa seperti tersambar petir. Hal ini mirip dengan fenomena penangkal petir. Di atas ada gumpalan uap air yang kaya akan elektron. Elektron elektron itu akan "meloncat" ke bumi melalui titik titik terdekat dengan awan yang terbuat bahan konduktor yang bagus."

Saya terkesima, dan berujar, "Oooo, begitu ya, ceritanya."

Ia pun dengan semangat meneruskan kuliahnya, "Jadi, kalau kamu tidak ingin tersambar pertir mini alias kesetrum listrik statis, sebelum kau memegang handle pintu, basahilah dulu tanganmu dengan air. Atau, kalau tidak ada air, salurkanlah elektron di tubuhmu ke bumi dengan menebakkan tanganmu ke tanah atau tembok."

Saya terperangah dengan kalimat terakhir itu. Saya terperanjat. Saya terkagum kagum. Saya bertakbir: Allahu Akbar!
Berpuluh puluh tahun saya bertanya tanya tentang tayamum sebagai pengganti wudhu, berpuluh puluh tahun naluri keingintahuan saya pendam. Hari ini, temanku yang notabene seorang atheis yang menjelaskannya dengan gamblang dengan teori listrik statis; sebuah ilmu sederhana yang sudah aku pelajari sejak bangku SD dan selalu kudapatkan pelajaran itu di jenjang sekolah berikutnya.

Dulu, saya mengira bahwa (satu satunya) hikmah berwudhu adalah membersihkan badan dari kotoran yang menempel di tubuh kita. Tetapi saya tidak habis fikir, bagaimana bisa wudhu diganti dengan tayammum yang dilakukan dengan membasuhkan debu ke wajah dan telapak tangan? Ternyata "kotoran" yang ada di dalam tubuh kita ternyata bukan hanya debu yang menempel ke tubuh kita. Ada jenis "kotoran" yang tidak terlihat oleh mata, jauh lebih berbahaya bila tidak segera di"buang". "Kotoran" itu bernama elektron, yang apabila terlalu banyak terakumulasi di tubuh kita bisa merusak kesetimbangan sistem elektrolit cairan di dalam tubuh kita.

Molekul molekul air H2O yang bersifat polar sangat mudah menyerap elektron elektron yang terakumulasi di tubuh kita. Hanya dengan mengusapkan air ke permukaan kulit saja, maka "kotoran" elektron itu dengan mudah "terbuang" dari tubuh kita. Sekarang saya faham, mengapa Rasulullah SAW pernah "mandi besar" hanya dengan menggunakan air satu ciduk saja, kurang lebih satu liter saja. Rupa rupanya yang dibutuhkan hanyalah membasahi seluruh permukaan tubuh dengan air, tanpa harus mengguyurnya; dan itu pulalah sebenarnya definisi syar'i wudhu dan mandi besar, hanya perlu membasuh saja, dan bukan mengguyur. Ternyata, hanya dengan membasuh kulit tubuh dengan air itulah kelebihan elektron di permukaan tubuh kita akan dinetralkan.

Dengan teori "kotoran" elektron listrik statis inilah akhirnya rahasia di balik tayamum sebagai pengganti wudhu menjadi terang benderang di mata saya; bahwa air yang dibasuhkan ke kulit tubuh akan menetralkan listrik statis di tubuh kita, dan penetralan itu bisa diganti dengan menebakkan tangan ke tanah dan mengusapkan debu wajah dan telapak tangan. Pernah ada kisah seorang sahabat bergulung gulung di tanah karena ia harus mandi besar dan tidak ada air. Ia mengira, bahwa ia harus melumuri tubuhnya dengan debu, sebab ia beranalogi dengan wudhu dan tayamum. Kalau wudhu yang mengusap hanya wajah, kepala, tangan dan kaki difanti dengan tayamum yang mengusap wajah dan telapak tangan, maka mandi janabat yang harus membasuh seluruh tubuh diganti dengan tayamum seluruh tubuh. Rasulullah pun menjelaskan bahwa tayamum untuk mandi janabah dilakukan sama persis dengan tayamum sebagai pengganti wudhu, yaitu cukup wajah dan telapak tangan saja.

Subhaanallaah.... Satu lagi Allah tunjukkan kepada saya bukti kebenaran Alqur'an sebagai wahyu Allah dan bukan karangan manusia:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَاغْسِلُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ إِلَى الْمَرَافِقِ وَامْسَحُوا بِرُءُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ ۚ وَإِن كُنتُمْ جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّرُوا ۚ وَإِن كُنتُم مَّرْضَىٰ أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَاءَ أَحَدٌ مِّنكُم مِّنَ الْغَائِطِ أَوْ لَامَسْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَلَمْ تَجِدُوا مَاءً فَتَيَمَّمُوا صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا فَامْسَحُوا بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُم مِّنْهُ ۚ مَا يُرِيدُ اللَّـهُ لِيَجْعَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ حَرَجٍ وَلَـٰكِن يُرِيدُ لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ﴿٦﴾
Hai orang-orang yang beriman, apabila kamu hendak mengerjakan shalat, maka basuhlah mukamu dan tanganmu sampai dengan siku, dan sapulah kepalamu dan (basuh) kakimu sampai dengan kedua mata kaki, dan jika kamu junub maka mandilah, dan jika kamu sakit atau dalam perjalanan atau kembali dari tempat buang air (kakus) atau menyentuh perempuan, lalu kamu tidak memperoleh air, maka bertayammumlah dengan tanah yang baik (bersih); sapulah mukamu dan tanganmu dengan tanah itu. Allah tidak hendak menyulitkan kamu, tetapi Dia hendak membersihkan kamu dan menyempurnakan nikmat-Nya bagimu, supaya kamu bersyukur. (6) QS AlMaidah.

O ye who believe! when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; Rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity, bathe your whole body. But if ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands, Allah doth not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete his favour to you, that ye may be grateful. (6)

Merasa mendapatkan "ilmu baru", saya pun mengklarifikasi hal ini ke mbah Google. Rupa rupanya saya ketinggalan jaman. Ternyata literatur mengenai wudhu, tayamum dan listrik statis ini sudah berjibun jumlahnya. Inilah salah satunya:

Beautiful Hadith

Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi Wassalam) said: 'When a man dies and
his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome
man by his head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in
between the shroud and the chest of the deceased.

When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, Munkar and
Nakeer (names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to
separate this handsome man so that they may be able to interrogate the
dead man in privacy about his faith.. But the handsome man says, 'He
is my companion, he is my friend. I will not leave him alone in any
case. If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job. I cannot
leave him until I get him admitted intoParadise '.

Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, 'I am the Qur'an,
which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a
low voice. Do not worry. After the interrogation of Munkar and Nakeer,
you will have no grief.'

When the interrogation is over, the handsome man arranges for him from
Al-Mala'ul A'laa (the angels in Heaven) silk bedding filled with musk.

Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam) said: 'On the Day of
Judgement, before Allah, no other Intercessor will have a greater
status than the Qur'an, neither a Prophet nor an angel.'

Please keep forwarding this 'Hadith' to all ....because Rasoolullah
(Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam) said: 'Pass on knowledge from me even if
it is only one verse'.

1. Allah takes away blessings from his age (makes his life misfortunate)
2. Allah does not accept his plea (Dua's)
3. Allah erases the features of good people from his face.
4. He will be detested by all creatures on earth.
5. Allah does not reward him for his good deeds. (No thawab)
6. He will not be included in the Dua's of good people.

THE THREE PUNISHMENTS WHILE DYING:
1. He dies humiliated.
2. He dies hungry.
3. He dies thirsty. Even if he drinks the water of all seas he will
still be thirsty.

THE THREE PUNISHMENTS IN THE GRAVE:
1. Allah tightens his grave until his chest ribs come over each other.
2. Allah pours on him fire with embers.
3. Allah sets on him a snake called 'the brave', 'the bold' which hits
him from morning until afternoon for leaving Fajar prayer, from the
afternoon until Asar for leaving Dhuhr prayer and so on. With each
strike he sinks 70 yards under the ground..

THE THREE PUNISHMENTS ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT:

There is no such thing as cold . Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat . We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy . Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it .(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof:
Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?

You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright
light, flashing light....But if
you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In
reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make

So what is the point you are making, young man?

Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Flawed? Can you explain how?

Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor.Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof:
If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student:
Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher? (The class is in uproar.)

Listed below are the 7 Common mistakes usually we make in prayers
Mistake 1: Reciting Surat al-Fatiha fast without pausing after each verse.

The Prophet (SAW) used to pause after each verse of this surah. (Abu Dawood)
Mistake 2: Sticking the arms to the sides of the body, in rukoo' or sujood, and sticking the belly to the thighs in sujood.

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Let not one of you support himself on his forearms (in sujood) like the dog. Let him rest on his palms and keep his elbows away from his body.' (Sahih Muslim) . The Messenger of Allah (SAW) used to keep his arms away from his body during rukoo' and sujood that the whiteness of his armpits could be seen (Sahih Muslim).
Mistake 3: Gazing upward during prayer.

This may cause loss of concentration. We are commanded to lower our gaze, and look at the point at which the head rests during sujood. The Prophet (SAW) warned: 'Let those who raise their gaze up during prayer stop doing so, or else their sights would not return to them. i.e. lose their eyesight].' (Muslim)
Mistake 4 : Resting only the tip of the head on the floor during sujood.

The Prophet (SAW) said: 'I am commanded to prostrate on seven bones the forehead and the nose, the two hands [palms], the two knees, and the two feet.' (Sahih Muslim) Applying the above command necessitates resting the forehead and the nose on the ground during sujood.
Mistake 5 : Hasty performance of prayer which does not allow repose and calmness in rukoo' or sujood.

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) saw a man who did not complete his rukoo' [bowing], and made a very short sujood [prostration] ; he (SAW) said: 'If this man dies while praying in this manner, he would die upholding a religion other than the religion of Muhammad.' Abu Hurairah (RA) said:
'My beloved friend, Muhammad (SAW) forbade me to perform postures of prayer copying the picking of a rooster; (signifying fast performance of prayer), moving eyes around like a fox and the sitting like monkeys ( i.e. to sit on thighs).' (Imam Ahmad & at-Tayalisi) The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ' The worst thief is the one who steals from his own prayer.' People asked, 'Messenger of Allah! How could one steal from his own prayer?' He (SAW) said: 'By not completing its rukoo' and sujood.' (At Tabarani & al-Hakim).
To complete rukoo' is to stay in that posture long enough to recite 'Subhana rabbiyal Adtheem' three times, SLOWLY, and 'Subhana rabbiyal-a'ala' three times, SLOWLY, in sujood. He (SAW) also announced: 'He who does not complete his rukoo' and sujood, his prayer is void.' (Abu Dawood & others)
Mistake 6 : Counting tasbeeh with the left hand

The Prophet (SAW) used to count tasbeeh on the fingers of his right hand after salah. Ibn Qudamah (RA) said: ' The Messenger of Allah (SAW) used his right hand for tasbeeh.' (Abu Dawood). The above hadeeth indicates clearly that the Prophet (SAW) used only one hand for counting tasbeeh. No Muslim with sound mind would imagine that the Prophet (SAW) used his left hand for counting tasbeeh. Aa'ishah (RA) said that the Prophet (SAW) used his left hand only for Istinjaa', or cleaning himself after responding to the call of nature. He never used it for tasbeeh. Yasirah (RA) reported: The Prophet (SAW) commanded women to count tasbeeh on their fingers.
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'They (the fingers) will be made to speak, and will be questioned (on the Day of Resurrection. )' (At-Tirmidhi) . The above Hadeeth indicates that it is preferable to count tasbeeh on the fingers of the right hand than to do so on masbahah (rosary).
Mistake 7 : Crossing in front of a praying person.

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) warned: 'Were the one who crosses in front of a praying person to know the consequences of doing so, he would have waited for *forty better than to cross in front of him.' (Sahih Bukhari and Muslim). *The forty in the tradition may be days months or even years. Allah knows best.

Beautiful Hadith

Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi Wassalam) said: 'When a man dies and his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome man by his head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in between the shroud and the chest of the deceased.

When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, Munkar and Nakeer (names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate this handsome man so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in privacy about his faith.. But the handsome man says, 'He is my companion, he is my friend. I will not leave him alone in any case. If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted intoParadise '.

Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, 'I am the Qur'an, which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low voice. Do not worry. After the interrogation of Munkar and Nakeer, you will have no grief.'

When the interrogation is over, the handsome man arranges for him from Al-Mala'ul A'laa (the angels in Heaven) silk bedding filled with musk.

Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam) said: 'On the Day of Judgement, before Allah, no other Intercessor will have a greater status than the Qur'an, neither a Prophet nor an angel.'

Please keep forwarding this 'Hadith' to all ....because Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam) said: 'Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse'.

3. Allah sets on him a snake called 'the brave', 'the bold' which hits him from morning until afternoon for leaving Fajar prayer, from the afternoon until Asar for leaving Dhuhr prayer and so on. With each strike he sinks 70 yards under the ground..

Last night, when I was sitting in the balcony next to my room, Niraj (Indian) came to me, and he asked me "What happen to the room, you usually do namaz (sholat)?". I answered "O, yes, the owner of the room now he is using his room, so we can't do sholat over there anymore, so we do it in the balcony next to Mustafa's room on the day and in the roof on the night". "That's I saw you did it in that places. Is it compulsory to do sholat together? Can we do it alone?". Oh God, he is interested to what we are doing (sholat), I'm very happy because what we did as a dakwah works.

"We can do sholat alone, but if we do it together with others, we got more good value. According to my religion (Islam) after death there will be a judgment from our God. If the bad things is more than the good things than we will be punished in the hell. The punishment is very bad, you will be burned, and if your skin is destroyed and God will give you a new skin to be burned again and again. It is very bad punishment from our God. But don't forget that our God is also full of mercy and love. The prove that He is full of love is you. Look at you, you are not Moslem but you are happy now, you can do your education until now PhD. Excuse me, what is your religion?". He answered "Actually I'm not belong to any religion". Oh God this is interesting, he had the way of thinking about life completely different with me. I wanted to know more how is the way he think.

"Do you ever think about where we will go after death?". He answered "Yes it is simple, if we dead than we go nowhere. Just like this building, if this building is destroyed by someone/something, so the existence of the building is finish. That is it. You see that vehicle, if some one destroy that vehicle, where is the vehicle go? No where, it just stop the existence of the vehicle". "Do you think that we are just like that vehicle, what do you mean by the death than?" I asked. "Well, death means our body stop working, our heart stop pumping the blood to every where in the body". I asked "How about soul than". He answered, "There is no soul, what is a soul?. We have a brain here, to think. thats it.

Yesterday I met Anis in the stairs of my Hostel (International Student Hostel) on the way I went to Koti to by the book. Grid Computing Book. He asked me, "assalamu'alaikum, kaifa haluka". I answered "Wa'alaikum salam, Ana bi khoir, Alhamdulillah". I shaked his hand and hug him. and he told me "No, not like this. If u meet me (Yamani), you have to do like this". He told me how to greet some one in Yaman.

The first time you have to shake his hand and than hug him and stick my right chick to his right chick, and say "muah", and then the turn for left chick to left chick, of course with "muah" twice. After that he said, yes yo got it. OK again we try it. Oh, god, i tried it three times. Yes that is, he said. If you meet me you have to do like this, OK. I said OK.

He went to Mustafa's (Suriah) room, and then come back directly because Mustafa was not in his room, and he yelled at me, Hi Rusydi, do you have, Acrobat Reader, because I want to download it. Oh God what did he mean by download, later on I know that what he meant is copy it from my laptop.

I gave him what he wanted and he asked me about dictionary, he wanted English-English dictionary, I said yes I have one longman English-English dictionary. This dictionary name is Stardict, first you have to instal the program (the reader of the dictionary) and than you extract the dictionary and put it in the C:\\Program Files\Stardict\dic OK. He said, OK. If you want to download from internet you can do it, for example Webster, English-Arabic, Arabic Englis, etc. He said no, I want only English-English Dictionary. I told him, with this dictionary if you are reading ebook, than if there is a word that you don't know, you can point the cursor on the word and the meaning will come automatically. No, I don't want, he said. I already know about all of these words. All I want is to type the word and the meaning is coming. Yes you can do it. OK

Then he asked me about Indonesian song, I played one song in Indonesian Language, and then he said no no no, I want a song with video. OK, I choose from my collection. Actually my collection is only one TTM (Teman Tapi Mesra) from Ratu (Maia Ahmad and Mulan Kwok), why? because this song is very pupuler in Idonesia, even they used the word TTM for their daily language. Everyone who wanted to see about clips in Indonesia Language, I showed them this clips. What is teir comment?
"This is American". Yes directly I answered, my country is too much affected by US. See this clip, there is no difference with american's video clip. No, I don't want this clip. I know the reason because of the clothes they wore. It is not Islamic at all.

OK I'll show you another clips. As you now that recently I downloaded clip from You Tube. All abot Agnes Monica. I have 5 clips of Agnes Monica, and I chose one of them entitled Tanpa Kekasih. And again he said no no no. I don't want clips with kissing, hugging, etc. Because I want to watch it with my family. Oh my God, it is difficult to find. Almost every clip will be like that. Even original Indonesia music (dangdut) is even worst. Oh God, Indonesian music has no identity, they are too much like American.

My friend from Tajikistan they played/heard their own song, it is also happened with Vietnamese, Yamanese, Irani, Iraqi. So when I played American song : Britney Spears "Ops I did it again", one Irani said to the others, see Rusydi hasn't his own song, he is listening to American song.

Oh, God. How about our nationalism then.

I said to him, ok later I'll give you, the clip that you want later. I remembered about kid singer, sherina and relegious album like Opick with Istighfar, but I don't have it. OK I'll search for him later.

Last night my friend came to my room. The fisrt person who came it was Abu Bakr from Tajikistan, and later on one by one they started to come. Muhammad Mansour, Faisal, Fahem, Mansur, Radfan (Yaman, their native language is arabic), Ibrahim (Palestina), dan Timor (Uzbekistan).

When they came my laptop was on and Fahem wanted to know what is in my Laptop. He asked me to show is there anything about Islam. I showed him anythings about Islam.

I have Al-Qur'an with translation in Indonesian Language
I have Al-Qur'an read by Al Muqarram As sudais and As suraim, both of them are Imam in Masjidil Haram. MP3 Format. The first time I played surah Al Hadiid (my favorite) and I read it. Fahem asked me, "who is reading that Qur'an". I replied "As Sudais, imam in Masjidil Haram". "Beside As Sudais?" . I replied "As Suraim, he is Imam in Masjidil Haram also". And then Fahem said to me "OK, now please play surah Yusuf, this is the story about Yusuf". "OK, what number, ehhmmm... let me search... yes this one surah number 12". After that we started to hear surah Yusuf, this surah is read by As Suraim. Fahem start to ask me about the meaning of any word in Qur'an, fortunately I could guess what is the meaning by translating from Indonesian Language into English, I had to guess which one of that word is in that ayah. "OK2, Good", he said. And then I played my second favorite surah Al-Waqiah. I read it together with As Sudais only 3 ayahs.
I have a song about Islam. And I started to play it. Fahem begun to listen to it carefully. He said, "No, this is about love". I started to laugh, because I don't know whether it is about Islam or not, hahaha, the main thing that I know, the song is written in Arabic. And he said "another song". I started to search again, and I found MP3 file with the name of the file written in Arabic, again he said "No, this is a love song". Suddenly i found a directory named Istighfar, "Yes this is it" I said inward and I open the directory, I found a song entitled Tombo Ati etc (by Opick), all of them are in Indonesian Language. I knew that the song is Indonesian Language. After that I found A song sang by Ungu entitled Sholawat. (Nowadays so many artist in Indonesia race to make relegious song especially in Ramadhan, one of them is Ungu, the album called "Album Relegi"). Yes this song "Sholawat" all in arabic language sang by Ungu. I started to play it. Thirty minutes past and Fahem started to ask me, (a wondering question) " What language is this, is it in English". "Hahahha" i laugh inward. I told him this is Arabic, and I started to sing together with Ungu, than he said, "ye ye ye, but his pronounciation is very bad, you are better than him" Oh my God, very popular song in My Country (Indonesia) with means nothing because of bad pronounciation.
I showed him my e-books about Islam, but all of them written in Indonesian Language

That is why I never want to be their imam in sholat, but the ma'mum are not arabian people. The key is pronounciation in arabic.
